We started retargeting our traffic and had a 20x return on ad spend for warmer audiences. We ran a viral giveaway using the Gleam platform, which generated 80,000 emails in 14 days. We sent out emails to over 100 influencers each month and worked with influencers on content retainers. We shut down our website before every launch and only allowed people who signed up for our waitlist to access the store. We had a compelling reason for people to sign up for our waitlist, which helped us collect leads and emails. We had a strong emphasis on scarcity and limited sales, which increased perceived value. We worked with influencers from day one, sending out 50 samples of our watches before we even launched the brand. We came up with a unique value proposition of only selling our watches on the fifth of each month for five days or until sold out. Our subscribers and followers had been waiting for a couple of months, and we were worried that they would hate our brand because we sold out so quickly. We sold out of all of our stock on the first day of sales, which generated over $100,000 in revenue. We had around 70,000 Instagram followers when we launched, which was a large following at the time. We received the watches on December 2nd or 3rd and decided to launch on December 5th because of the brand name. By this point, I had been in ecommerce for three years with my first brand, SkinnyMe Tea. This was for my second ecommerce brand, The Fifth Watches. Hey guys, Greta here! Today, I want to talk about what led me to achieve a one million dollar revenue day for one of my multi-million dollar ecommerce brands.
